At Little Critters Learning Center, our Preschool program (serving children ages three to five) is designed to ignite a child’s natural curiosity and build a foundation for academic success. Our Philosophy: Play with a Purpose

While many programs move straight into desks and worksheets, Little Critters stays true to our play-based curriculum. We know that a child who enjoys learning will continue to do so throughout their lives. Our “Purposeful Play” approach means that every block tower, finger painting, and group game is intentionally designed to build:

A Curriculum That Grows with Them

Our preschool program focuses on key developmental milestones that prepare children for the transition to Kindergarten. We don’t just teach “what” to learn, but “how” to learn.

Early Literacy & Math

We introduce letters, sounds, and numbers in tactile, fun ways. Instead of just tracing on paper, our preschoolers might count “critters” in a sensory bin or find letters hidden around the room. This hands-on approach ensures that concepts stick because they are tied to a positive, active experience.

Science & Exploration

Preschoolers are natural scientists. Our curriculum encourages them to ask “why?” and “how?” We utilize our clean, well-kept facility to host hands-on experiments, nature-themed projects, and sensory exploration that help children understand the world around them.
